Our September 2018 cover features Alexandre Villeneuve, the 2017 Physique Canada Tier 1 Pro Men’s Bodybuilding. That win, last October, made Alexandre known as being the best men’s bodybuilder in Canada.
Right now, Alexandre is preparing to defend his title at the 2018 Physique Canada Canadian Championships. Can anyone beat him? That’s what we’ll see at the competition, to be held October 20, in Gatineau, QC, Canada.

SeriousAboutMuscle.com began in November 2005. Doug Schneider was the founder and remains as the publisher today. In the last 10 years, Doug has photographed and written about more competitions from more organizations than any other Canadian journalist. He is also a key contributor for Inside Fitness, Canada's top fitness magazine, and his work has appeared in publications such as MuscleMag. Doug is also he is the creator of SAF (SeriousAboutFitness.com), Canada's top women's health-and-fitness that features competitions, fitness camps, videos, and much more.
Over the years we've had a number of outstanding competitors who have authored our feature columns: Erik Alstrup, Stéphane Bussière, Denis Pedneault, Guy Bourgon, Vince Wawryk and Autumn Raby. Unlike columns that many magazines publish that are actually "ghost written," what you read in SeriousAboutMuscle.com was written by the competitors themselves. The information they provide is real and valuable.

This cover features Steve Duperre, the over-40 masters winner, as well as the lightweight and overall champion, at the 2011 IDFA Montreal Classic held on April 9. (Click image left to see a larger cover image.) This cover was inspired by the cover of a very famous book released in the 1970s. We'd say what it is, but for now we have a contest going on Facebook to give away tickets to a women's fitness seminar. When we have a winner, we'll update this text.
